The idea of Burrito Craft evolved on Julia & Marcs adventures around the world. They had always had a passion for cooking and burritos were their number one go-to, crowd-pleaser. When they decided to head home & settle, Wanaka was a no brainer as it was not only the place where Julia grew up but also where they first crossed paths. Marc- originally from Scotland- was in Wanaka working as a chef in 2010 when mutual friends brought them together. They arrived back in NZ in 2014 and the plan to build a Food Truck and bring their delicious burritos to Wanaka was well underway.
Everything served is made using the freshest of ingredients and made onsite daily. Every component is made from scratch to ensure the tastiest burrito around. The truck is located in the beautiful new food truck site @ 42 Brownston street. If they are not busy taking care of their customers, then you will find them at home bringing up their two boys Findlay and Nico, made from 100% burritos!

We opened our doors to the public on Brownston St in October 2015. From there, Burrito Craft just kept growing. Within 2 years we had outgrown our original trailer and built a bigger version to keep up with demand. We are the longest standing food truck in Wanaka to date and love the seasonal nature of this town. Welcoming back friendly faces year on year brings our team true happiness. See our menu here.
